Often I find that companies and large organizations do not comprehend the amount of resources needed to scope, develop and maintain a website, and I haven’t talked about phones, tablets and other devices.
I created this simple website development diagram in order to help web managers, agencies, recruiters and whoever needs or wants to develop a website.
The website matrix map is split into three devision:
- Development
- Content
- Maintenance
Each devision can be split into many sub devisions. Almost each sub devision requires a professional or specialist to build, create, manage etc. No wonder the IT profession is booming at a high rate. Each sub devision can be split into addition devisions especially the Content Production devision which contains copy-writers, video editors, photographers, ad agencies, search engine specialists, bloggers etc.
